Boots On The Ground In Arizona
Peoria, AZ The Arizona Primary is nearing and now until February 28th every Conservative American in the great state of Arizona should be lacing up their boot straps and pounding the street for their candidate. I for one will be out there pumping for Rick Santorum, the only true Conservative on the Republican ticket vying for the Office in Washington D.C.
Why do I like Rick Santorum? He is a values man. He hasn’t wavered on his stand for the economy, foreign policy, education, or jobs; unlike those running with him.
- His view on abortion is that life begins at conception…I agree.
- His view on balancing the budget includes getting rid of five trillion of federal spending within the first five years. He thinks this can be accomplished by freezing non-defense federal employee wages. I agree, and apparently so does the House of Representatives since they just approved the Federal-Worker pay freeze. He proposes cutting some of the funding for EPA (thank goodness) and also Planned Parenthood. Just on the budget alone he gets my vote.
- Yes, he’s played around in the earmark arena…what politician hasn’t? Let’s move on.
- His view on taxes; I like some, jury is out on some. You take a look, decide for yourself
- His view on healthcare can be found following this hyperlink. Overall, I like his plan on this topic.
- His view on foreign policy is to have an American presence where it is necessary with no presence where it is not needed.
- His view on our military. Well, quick frankly, he has great respect for them just as I do.
So, your homework assignment for tonight is to go look at these websites, but don’t stop there. Check out as many sites as you can. Become as informed as you can on the candidate you want to be on our Republican ticket this fall. Don’t get pulled into what the media is telling you. THE MEDIA CHOSE OUR LAST PRESIDENT; DON’T LET THEM DO THAT AGAIN!
